He is a faculty affiliate of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Center for Information &amp; Systems Engineering (CISE)<\/a> and the Hariri Institute.<\/p>\n<p>His research focuses on dynamics and control theory, with particular emphasis on cyber-physical systems, formal methods, and applications to robotics, autonomous driving, and systems biology. <span>He is a faculty affiliate of the Center for Information &amp; Systems Engineering (CISE) and the Hariri Institute. <\/span>\u00a0<span>Notable awards include the 2008 AFOSR Young Investigator Award, the 2005 National Science Foundation CAREER Award, and the 2017 IEEE TCNS Outstanding Paper Award.
