After a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard working on synthetic quantum platforms, he joined the physics faculty at the University of Washington in 2013 before moving to BU in 2016. He was a Sloan Fellow from 2016-2018 and received an NSF Career award in 2018. His research interests include synthetic quantum platforms for simulation and computation, quantum satisfiability and typical-case complexity, random quantum circuits, spin glasses, many-body localization, topological order and dynamics in strongly correlated quantum phases of matter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":18687,"template":"","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/25574"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/profile"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/18687"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/25574\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":29324,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/25574\/revisions\/29324"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=25574"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
