{"id":25553,"date":"2022-05-20T12:57:25","date_gmt":"2022-05-20T16:57:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=25553"},"modified":"2025-05-12T08:58:15","modified_gmt":"2025-05-12T12:58:15","slug":"alex-olshevsky","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/profile\/alex-olshevsky\/","title":{"rendered":"Alex Olshevsky"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Alex Olshevsky is a Professor in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/eng\/departments\/ece\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering,<\/a> the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/eng\/departments\/se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Division of Systems Engineering<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cs\/\">Department of Computer Science<\/a> (affiliate) <\/span><span>at Boston University. <\/span><span>He received the B.S. degree in applied mathematics and the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, both in 2004, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA, in 2006 and 2010, respectively.
