He<span>\u00a0analyzes complex biomedical data\u2014digital neuropsychological tests, spatial omics and imaging, and geospatial and longitudinal data\u2014to create interpretable biomarkers and predictive models. He links Bayesian modeling, spatial statistics, geometric\/functional data analysis, and variable selection to uncover hidden patterns in complex data and build robust statistical and machine\u2011learning models. His work spans aging and neurodegenerative research, cancer biology, and public health.<\/span> His research aims to develop interpretable features, reliable prediction models, and biological explanations that support better decisions in patient and public health.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining BU, Mohammed was a postdoctoral research fellow in Biostatistics and in Computational Medicine &amp; Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan\u2013Ann Arbor, and a Precision Health Scholar.
