Dobbs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Christina L. Dobbs is an associate professor of teaching and learning at the Wheelock College of Education &amp; Human Development. Dobbs directs Wheelock\u2019s English Education for Equity &amp; Justice program, with research focusing on academic language development, the argumentative writing of students, and professional development for secondary content teachers. Her work is supported through significant external funding from the John Templeton Foundation, as well as through several competitive internal awards. A frequent invited presenter, she has earned international recognition for collaborative work focusing on teacher professional development.
