He is also Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/opad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Optimizing Prediction of Anxiety and Depression (OPAD) Lab<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sph-profile-section sph-profile-section-bio\">\n<div class=\"sph-profile-bio\">\n<p>Dr. Rosellini studies the etiology and course of anxiety and mood disorders \u2013 also known as internalizing psychopathology. His research uses a combination of clinical psychological and epidemiologic methods to:<br \/>\n(1) Identify and understand the emotional, psychological, and environmental factors (e.g., personality, emotion regulation, stress, trauma) associated with the development and persistence of internalizing psychopathology.<br \/>\n(2) Develop clinically-usefully risk tools that optimally predict the onset, severity, course, and treatment response of internalizing psychopathology and associated behavioral outcomes (e.g., suicide).<br \/>\n(3) Improve clinical assessment, diagnosis, and classification<\/p>\n<p><span>Dr. Rosellini\u2019s current work involves using machine learning methods to develop optimized prediction tools that identify individuals at risk of anxiety and mood disorder onset and chronicity. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Rosellini received his PhD in clinical psychology from Boston University.
