He is also a graduate trainee in the BU Graduate Program in Urban Biogeoscience &amp; Environmental Health. His dissertation research uses computational ecology to quantify the effects of forest fragmentation across large regions. Broadly, he is interested in applying techniques from data &amp; computer sciences to better utilize ecological data.
