Aloni Cohen has just finished his Ph.D. in the\u00a0<\/span>Cryptography and Information Security<\/a>\u00a0group at MIT, advised by Shafi Goldwasser. His research is in the theory cryptography broadly, and increasingly, their legal implications. Right now, he is thinking about algorithmic fairness, GDPR, anonymization, the Bill of Rights, and encryption. Aloni is an Affiliate at the\u00a0<\/span>Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society<\/a>, a Fellow at\u00a0<\/span>Facebook<\/a>\u00a0and at the\u00a0<\/span>Aspen Tech Policy Hub<\/a>, and recipient of the NSF Graduate Student Research Fellowship.
