This project, led by Hariri Institute Faculty Fellow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/profile\/adriana-tomic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adriana Tomic<\/a> in collaboration with Adolfo Garc\u00eda-Sastre, is supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/icahn.mssm.edu\/research\/influenza-pathogenesis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" title=\"Center for Research on Influenza Pathogenesis and Transmission (CRIPT)\">Center for Research on Influenza Pathogenesis and Transmission (CRIPT)<\/a> at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The two-year project, titled <\/span>\u201cUnraveling the Determinants of Cross-Protective T Cell Immunity Against Influenza using a Multi-Omics Approach,\u201d<span> will focus on understanding how certain T cell populations can provide broad protection against diverse influenza strains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;Our multi-omics strategy will dive deeper into memory T cell subsets, innate immune signaling, and other factors that shape robust, long-lasting immunity,&#8221; says Tomic.
