In the upcoming workshop, we will discuss approaches, challenges, and concepts (new and old) related to sparse data and small datasets. The workshop will include presentations from faculty in the statistics and machine learning areas on methods and approaches to small datasets and a small-group breakout session organized around the individual research thrusts followed by a full group discussion. Breakout sessions will focus on how to apply the methods discussed in the faculty presentations to the data generated by each thrust with a final plenary session for discussion of thoughts and outcomes from the breakout sessions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop is open to FRP faculty members and their students.
