SAIL to host Multi-Party Computation Workshop on 2/16

This event has been postponed from its original date, Thursday, February 9, 2017.

Thursday, February 16, 5:00 pm – 6:15 pm
Hariri Institute for Computing, Seminar Room

Please join the Hariri Institute for Computing and Software & Application Innovation Lab (SAIL) for an introductory workshop on multi-party computation.

SAIL Software Engineer Nikolaj Volgushev will give an overview of secure multi-party computation (MPC) protocols, including Shamir’s secret sharing and SPDZ. He will also give a tutorial on how to put together a “hello world” example. Nikolaj was one of the researchers and software engineers who was involved in building the MPC web application used by the Boston Women’s Workforce Council for their 100% Talent Compact data collection process.
