Violet described how her Humphrey Fellowship Year\u2014and particularly the support of her former faculty advisor, Questrom Associate Professor <a href=\"http:\/\/questromapps.bu.edu\/mgmt_new\/Profiles\/SmithDonald.html\">Donald J. Smith<\/a>, enabled her to ultimately become a staff member at\u00a0the World Bank.
