Since 2010 he has been teaching English, developing curriculum, and working in the administration at Mauritania\u2019s Ministry of National Education. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mr. Mini has been awarded for his success in teaching both oral and written English skills to classes of upwards of seventy students utilizing the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.academypublication.com\/issues\/past\/tpls\/vol02\/03\/12.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Competency Based Approach (CBA)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a precise outcomes-based approach to teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prior to working for the Ministry of Education, Mr. Mini taught English at several private schools and worked within teacher networks to advance private-sector EFL instruction across Mauritania. He is also distinguished in the fields of oral interpretation and translation, having translated for the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldvision.org\/about-us\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">World Vision Organization<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mr. Mini obtained a bachelor\u2019s degree i<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">n English from the University of Nouakchott in 2007. He has further obt<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ained a number of professional certifications including the Certificate of Aptitude for The Profession of a Teacher from <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ens.fr\/?lang=en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ecole Normale <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sup\u00e9rieure (ENS)<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Paris and a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">certificate in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Critical Thinking in Language Learning and Teaching (CT) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from the University of Oregon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During his Humphrey year, Mr. Mini would like to further advance his teaching and educational leadership skills, including the learning of new methods that he can utilize to enhance teaching and learning across Mauritania. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. Labada Mini has taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and directed EFL programs and initiatives in Mauritania for several years.
