Mr. Azddine Daif has been a financial magistrate/auditor at the Moroccan Court of Accounts since 2005. He investigates government accounts and audits the management of public organizations and state-owned corporations. He assesses the quality of management, the efficiency and effectiveness of their actions and submits recommendations for improvements. In April 2010, he performed an audit on financial statements of the United Nations Organization in Geneva.

From 1999 to 2005 Azddine worked as an officer in the Ministry of Finance. He participated in the preparation of rules and regulations for the Moroccan financial market and he supervised the activities of the Casablanca Stock Exchange and the Capital Market Authority.

Mr. Daif holds a Bachelor’s degree and a post-graduate diploma in Economics from the University Mohamed V-Agdal, specializing in banking and finance. He is currently a candidate for a Doctorate in Economics with a dissertation project titled, “The Determining Factors of Stock Returns in the Casablanca Stock Exchange.”

During his Humphrey year, Azddine is interested in developing his skills in banking and finance, as well as in the area of risk management. He strives to become an expert in performance auditing and public program evaluation.
