She completed her undergraduate degree at Bucknell University before obtaining her Master\u2019s degree from The Institute of Fine Arts, NYU. Danarenae\u2019s dissertation \u201cThe Makings of Merchants: Collecting Practices and Visual Culture of Early Modern Merchant Collectors\u201d focuses on the collections and happenings of early modern merchants and their families. Her research considers topics of class, gender, civic practice, and immigration through interdisciplinary methodologies. Danarenae is also interested in the reception of antiquity and global artistic and cultural exchange.
