Ribner will present a paper, “Janmot and Delacroix: Perpendicular Lives” at a symposium at the Lyon Musée des Beaux-Arts (November 17, 2023) organized to coincide with an exhibition at the Musée d’Orsay, Paris: Louis Janmot: Le Poème de l’âme. He will review the exhibition and its catalogue for Nineteenth-Century Art Worldwide (Spring 2024).
