Professor Moore quoted in the New York Times
Prof. William Moore was recently quoted on the front page of the Arts section of the New York Times. Writer Patricia Leigh Brown interviewed Moore as a source for her article about a new facility planned for the Shaker Museum in Chatham, New York. To contextualize the complex designed by renowned architect Anabelle Selldorf, Brown drew upon Moore’s recent book Shaker Fever: America’s Twentieth-Century Fascination with a Communitarian Sect published by the University of Massachusetts Press.
