All forms of sexual misconduct, including rape, acquaintance rape, sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, stalking, and sexual harassment are violations of Boston University\u2019s policies, whether they happen on campus or off campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Prevention<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/shs\/sarp\/how-we-prevent\/\">Step Up Step In BU (SUSIBU)<\/a>:\u00a0<\/strong>SUSIBU is BU\u2019s primary sexual violence prevention program offered through SARP. This interactive training raises awareness about the prevalence of sexual assault on campus and how BU community members can seek to prevent it. SUSIBU is available to students, faculty, and staff. Registration for a SUSIBU training can be done through Eventbrite or by emailing SARP at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sarp@bu.edu\">sarp@bu.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/shs\/behavioral-medicine\/services-we-provide\/terriers-connect\/\">Terriers Connect<\/a>:\u00a0<\/strong>This training program teaches members of the BU community to identify distress, communicate with and support students, and provide accurate information for referrals to the appropriate mental health resources. Their focus is sexual trauma and rape. They assist survivors of physical assault, interpersonal violence, and other crimes.\u00a0They\u00a0maintain your confidentiality.
