They make arrangements to dine in Boston-area establishments and have an informal discussion and tour with the owner after the meal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/eng\/student-engagement-careers\/student-engagement\/student-clubs-organizations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Engineering Graduate Student Organizations<br \/>\n<\/a>For students looking to network with professionals and attend events related to the engineering field, BU&#8217;s College of Engineering has a variety of organizations, including the Student Association of Graduate Engineers (SAGE), Integrated Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT), and Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (GWISE).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bucssa.net\/portal.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Graduate Chinese Students and Scholars Association<br \/>\n<\/a>The CSSA was formed to promote academic and cultural exchange with other communities of different cultures, and to enhance the communication, interaction, understanding, and friendship in the BU Chinese community.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/innovate\/resource\/entreprenurship-and-innovation-club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Graduate Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club<br \/>\n<\/a>The Graduate Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club seeks to provide support, education, and resources to disruptive and entrepreneurial thinkers at BU.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/students\/student-life\/gmsso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Graduate Medical Sciences Student Organization (GMSSO)<\/a><br \/>\nThe Graduate Medical Sciences Student Organization (GMSSO) organizes volunteer and social events, in addition to advocating for the GMS student population.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/musicsoc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Graduate Music Society<br \/>\n<\/a>The Graduate Music Society at Boston University fosters an environment for graduate students of all disciplines to discuss and debate current issues in the fields of musicology, music theory, and ethnomusicology.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/provost\/committees\/gsab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Graduate Student Advisory Board<br \/>\n<\/a>The Graduate Student Advisory Board advises the Associate Provost for Graduate Affairs on a range of issues affecting the graduate academic experience. Through the organization of social and departmental events, they aim to foster and grow an academic community comprised of participation from all cohorts. HSMAI is committed to growing business for hotels and their partners by fueling sales, inspiring marketing, and optimizing revenue.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/sha\/student-activities-and-professional-organizations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">International Students Hospitality Association (ISHA)<\/a><br \/>\nISHA seeks to take classroom learning and work experience and introduce an international perspective. Meetings with industry leaders at local site visits as well as social and community service events have earned the nationally-recognized BU chapter a number of awards.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bunalsa.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Native American Law Students&#8217; Association &amp; Other Indigenous Peoples&#8217; Group<br \/>\n<\/a>BU&#8217;s chapter of NALSA promotes education and awareness about Federal Indian law and tribal law on campus. In recognition of the United Nations&#8217; Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, BUNALSA serves as a community for all indigenous peoples.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/oSTEMatBU\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">oSTEM<br \/>\n<\/a>Queer and LGBTQIAPP+ folks are an underrepresented population in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. oSTEM is a national student society, dedicated to increasing the participation of queer people in disciplines related to these STEM fields and lines of work. We aim to provide social, networking, educational, and career-building opportunities for queer students, staff, faculty, and allies in the sciences.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/news_and_events\/girc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pardee Graduate Council<\/a><br \/>\nThe Pardee Graduate Council (PGC) is the official graduate student organization of the Pardee School.
