The 2022 Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week at BU will be held April 4-8, 2022. <\/span><\/span>Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week was started in 1993 by the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGPS) <\/span>to<\/span> demonstrate appreciation for graduate and professional students nationwide. In collaboration with our university partners, BU is celebrating this year with a series of virtual and in-person events, a small gesture to demonstrate the University\u2019s appreciation for the important role graduate and professional students play within our community. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span> Below you will find the Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week event schedule. These events are free and open to all BU graduate and professional students. Please be sure to register!<\/p>\n How to Network and Leverage LinkedIn as a Graduate Student<\/strong><\/p>\n Time: 12-1pm In this workshop with the Center for Career Development, learn how to use networking to your advantage, including identifying goals, utilizing your networking plan, and creating an elevator pitch. Tap into your alumni network using BU Connects, Handshake, LinkedIn, and CareerShift. This session is tailored to the needs of BU’s graduate and professional students.<\/span><\/p>\n A DEI Approach to Supporting Graduate and Professional Students Zoom Webinar<\/b><\/p>\n Time: 3:30-4:30 pm Faculty, staff, and administrators\u2014do you work with graduate and professional students?\u00a0 Join the co-authors of this selected chapter in <\/span>A Practitioner\u2019s Guide to Supporting Graduate and Professional Students<\/span><\/a> to learn about innovative practices for retaining graduate and professional students from diverse backgrounds.
