Beginning in early September 2025, office hours for PhD students (and other terminal-degree students) will be offered. These will rotate across BU, both the Charles River and Medical Campuses. You may find our listing of and an opportunity to sign up for office hours here: https://calendly.com/gradpd-bu. These are designed as in-person office hours, but can also be done via Zoom on request.
Virtual office hours provide students with a space to ask staff questions, receive professional development advice, and learn about available resources. If you have any questions, please email us at gradpd@bu.edu.
What we can help with:
- Advising on mentoring, dissertating, or departmental challenges
- Navigating the job search and reviewing application materials
- Strategizing about career planning and skill development
- Connecting you to resources at BU and beyond
- Anything else PhD-related (or a similar terminal degree program)
