tab IMDA

The International Management Development Association (IMDA) was formed in 1987 in the State of Pennsylvania to provide an interdisciplinary and global platform for the exchange of ideas in the pursuit of professional growth and opportunities for academics, practitioners, and public policy makers at all levels.

Learn more about the IMDA

The JTMD is the official journal of the IMDA. The journal examines management research, teaching and development issues. The journal audience includes: business administration academics and researchers, developmental economists, social scientists, international business persons and policymakers as well as managers from both for profit and not for profit multinational corporations.

The journal is published four times a year. As its editor I am dedicated to providing both an international focus on the Journal’s editorial board as well as the publications presented. The journal is most interested in articles submitted from areas normally not represented in management journals. These tend to be those developing areas of the world having much is written about them but where local authors tend, for many reasons, not to submit their work for publication.

The Journal of Transnational Management is dedicated to promoting such contributions and is prepared to offer whatever assistance might be necessary to bring the authors of developing nations to the publication process. Authors throughout the world are invited to contact the member of the editorial board representing their region or may submit their material to me directly. Particularly ambitious researchers are also welcome to contact me concerning the development of a special issue. Special issues are developed around particular themes and normally contain six papers.

I look forward to hearing from you concerning the journal and any ideas that you might have.
