As a Graduate International Student Advisor, Hannah Battula counsels and advises international students on the U.S. visa and immigration system. Prior to joining Global Programs, Hannah served as a SEVIS coordinator and Designated School Official at Rivier University, where she advised international students on F-1 visa compliance, complex immigration issues and F1 employment benefits. Her professional background also includes teaching and early childhood education as a Lead Teacher as well as community-based support for immigrant and refugee populations as a Client Relations Intern at the International Institute of New England.<\/p>\n
Hannah holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Southern New Hampshire University. Having earned her graduate degree in England, Hannah deepened her appreciation for global perspectives and the international student experience.<\/p>\n
She is an active member of NAFSA and is passionate about social justice and mental health advocacy.
