As the Special Advisor to VP/AP and Chief of Staff at BU Global Programs, Ellen uses her background in data analysis and research to contribute to the development of Global Programs’ strategic goals and objectives. She is also responsible for strengthening and coordinating Global Programs initiatives and programs, communicating with internal and external colleagues to support the work of Global Programs, providing support and leadership on a variety of projects related to the University’s global initiatives, and supporting the VP/AP.

Previously for Global Programs, Ellen served as a Program Data Analyst providing complex data analysis, high-level statistical research, and longitudinal trend reporting. Prior to Global Programs, she worked as a Data Analyst analyzing trends in medical malpractice data to help improve patient safety. Ellen also spent time as a Business Systems Analyst, translating business requirements into technical specifications to support the marketing needs of a large pharmaceutical company. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston University, and she is earning her Master’s from BU. During her undergraduate studies, Ellen studied abroad in Shanghai, China.
