{"id":52,"date":"2015-07-20T13:39:08","date_gmt":"2015-07-20T17:39:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites-staging.bu.edu\/globalhealthtechnologies\/?page_id=52"},"modified":"2016-03-08T11:58:17","modified_gmt":"2016-03-08T16:58:17","slug":"experience","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/globalhealthtechnologies\/experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Partnership for Global Health Technologies was created\u00a0to allow for a\u00a0continuous\u00a0cycle\u00a0of development, product testing and modification through its multi-year design.\u00a0Students will have a comprehensive experience participating in\u00a0the life cycle of a\u00a0medical technology, from the inception of early designs through to field testing a device.\u00a0Each year, new\u00a0student participants will continue the project where past participants have left off, overlapping with those already in the program to preserve the continuity of the project.<\/p>\n<p><BR><BR><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">In the Lab<\/h2>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\">Fall &amp; Then, for six weeks over the summer, selected students will travel abroad to field test the device and meet with local medical staff and biotechnology regulators.
