{"id":212,"date":"2010-06-23T12:57:21","date_gmt":"2010-06-23T16:57:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ghc\/?page_id=212"},"modified":"2016-01-12T10:23:19","modified_gmt":"2016-01-12T15:23:19","slug":"medical-education","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ghc\/what-we-do\/medical-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical Education and Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In addition to our programs in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ghc\/what-we-do\/medical-education\/...international-faculty-development-programs\" target=\"_blank\">International Faculty Development<\/a>, our in-country initiatives place\u00a0special emphasis on providing continuing medical education for health professionals around the world who may not otherwise have access to professional development.\u00a0Our projects\u00a0aim to create sustainable opportunities for\u00a0specialized training in order to improve primary care health delivery.<\/p>\n<p>In order to support the development of primary care training programs, the Collaborative offers medical education workshops in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Primary care principles and systems<\/li>\n<li>Clinical teaching<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum development<\/li>\n<li>Customized programs based on needs assessments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Collaborative also offers consultation on the design of training programs within hospitals and institutions.
