The candidate will be required to live\u00a0full time in Lusaka, Zambia. Duties include providing research,\u00a0administrative and logistical support to the study. Duties would\u00a0include all forms of clinical trial coordination for this hospital and\u00a0clinic based study, including data form review for completeness and\u00a0accuracy, case tracking, logistics and supplies, training coordinators\u00a0and data collector\/clinicians on clinical and study protocol\u00a0adherence, completion of protocol violation and adverse event\u00a0documentation, administrative oversight and mentoring and supervising\u00a0student interns (medical, nursing, midwifery, and public health\u00a0students).<\/p>\n<p>The Lusaka Study Coordinator will serve as part of the Safe Motherhood\u00a0Team of the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, Department of\u00a0Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF; will serve\u00a0as the local liaison between the NASG studies in Lusaka, Zambia and\u00a0the investigators and project staff at UCSF; will serve as the\u00a0administrative and research team leader for Lusaka, collaborate with\u00a0the UCSF Copperbelt, Zambia Coordinator as a peer, and will report\u00a0directly to Elizabeth Butrick, the NASG Study Director in San\u00a0Francisco.
