{"id":2164,"date":"2011-11-22T16:32:04","date_gmt":"2011-11-22T21:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ghblast\/?p=2164"},"modified":"2011-11-22T16:32:04","modified_gmt":"2011-11-22T21:32:04","slug":"bmc-world-aids-day-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ghblast\/2011\/11\/22\/bmc-world-aids-day-event\/","title":{"rendered":"BMC World AIDS Day Event!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>World AIDS Day is fast approaching and preparation is underway to make this year\u2019s event successful.\u00a0Boston  Medical Center will be hosting an event for World AIDS Day on <strong>Thursday, December 1, 2011<\/strong> from <strong>10:00 am to 2:00 pm<\/strong> at the new Shapiro Ambulatory Care\u00a0Center.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Guest Speaker Event<\/strong> will be in the\u00a0Shapiro\u00a0Ambulatory Care Center Lobby\u00a0and  will include:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Meg Sullivan, MD, <em>Medical Director,<\/em> <em>Section of Infectious Diseases<\/em><em> of Boston Medical Center <\/em><\/li>\n<li>Kate Walsh, <em>President and CEO of Boston Medical Center<\/em><em> <\/em><\/li>\n<li>Stephen Pelton, MD,\u00a0<em>Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases<\/em><em> of  Boston Medical Center<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Dawn Fukuda, <em>Director of the Office of HIV\/AIDS, Massachusetts Department of Public Health<\/em><em> <\/em><\/li>\n<li>People living with HIV\/AIDS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>We&#8217;d love to have you join us for our <strong>Community Agency Health Fair<\/strong> will be on the 9th floor of the Shapiro Ambulatory Care Center.\u00a0Please RSVP\u00a0by email\u00a0no later  than\u00a0<strong>Friday, November 18, 2011<\/strong> if your agency would like table space\u00a0at the Health Fair.
