{"id":2131,"date":"2011-11-15T17:50:45","date_gmt":"2011-11-15T22:50:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ghblast\/?p=2131"},"modified":"2011-11-15T17:50:45","modified_gmt":"2011-11-15T22:50:45","slug":"update-on-professor-bill-bicknell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ghblast\/2011\/11\/15\/update-on-professor-bill-bicknell\/","title":{"rendered":"Update on Professor Bill Bicknell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the request of Dr. Bill Bicknell, please find an update about his current health status below:<\/p>\n<p>While undergoing an unrelated diagnostic procedure, a small tumor was found on Bill&#8217;s brain.\u00a0 He has elected to have surgery immediately and the procedure will occur on Friday.\u00a0 Professor Bicknell is expecting to be hospitalized about a week, and then will undergo some targeted radiation treatment.
