BU\u2019s African Studies Center is offering \u201cSwahili Language with a Health Focus\u201d on the Medical Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity for MPH and other students on the MED campus who are interested in working in East Africa. The course is offered for 1 credit. Meeting times will be determined based upon when enrolled students are available. (Depending on interest, more than one section may be offered).<\/p>\n<p>This intensive course will be scheduled for 2 hours, twice a week. The class\u00a0will focus on providing students with practical speaking, listening, and reading skills that will be useful in conducting fieldwork and will also highlight East African cultural notions of health.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in taking the course please register for CAS LE491 as soon as possible via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/link\/bin\/uiscgi_studentlink.pl\/uismpl\/?ModuleName=menu.pl&amp;NewMenu=Home\">student link<\/a>. Once you have registered, the instructor will communicate with you directly about scheduling.
