By instilling a culture of action, we hope to increase the survival rates of medical emergencies in\u00a0non-hospital settings.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking to bring on a Part-time Intern (10-20hrs\/wk) to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of\u00a0Designers, Software Developers, Clinicians and End Users to develop a multi-media solution that\u00a0improves a bystander\u2019s performance of emergency care.<\/p>\n<p>As a social impact venture, all your creativity and expertise would save someone\u2019s life, improve their<br \/>\nhealth outcomes or relieve pain and suffering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Research, curate and drive review of emergency care instructions for the lay public<br \/>\n&#8211; Create easy to understand lightweight step by step instructions that are easy to render in high<br \/>\nfidelity on a mobile phone<br \/>\n&#8211; Collaborate with and engage with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, developers,<br \/>\nclinicians, emergency medicine SMEs and end users<br \/>\n&#8211; Lead a crowd-sourcing campaign to create an AED registry<br \/>\n&#8211; Conduct user experience testing and software regression testing<br \/>\n&#8211; Assist with strategy and planning of the software pilot<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Candidate for a Master in Public Health (MPH)<br \/>\n&#8211; Experience in storyboarding, and product design<br \/>\n&#8211; Passionate about social impact and global mhealth solutions<br \/>\n&#8211; Experience working with Agile\/Scrum methodologies is an added bonus<br \/>\n&#8211; A team-oriented self-starter that works well alone and with a team and is dedicated to<br \/>\nquality,highly creative and has a strong attention to detail<br \/>\n&#8211; Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact Info:<\/strong><br \/>\nEsther Ndungu<br \/>\ninfo@helpfie.com<br \/>\nApply Here: <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1WSiBZr\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/1WSiBZr<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Health IT Practicum Company Overview eSociates LLC (www.eSociates.org) is social enterprise firm looking to develop innovative solutions that address society\u2019s most pressing challenges.
