Mentor Academy for Faculty Members

We are excited to announce the BUSPH Faculty Mentor Academy on April 10, from 12:30p-4p in person on the medical campus. At a time when public health leadership is needed more than ever and students rely on career mentorship in an evolving job market we are pleased to offer a resource to support faculty of all stages. Please register to join us for lunch followed by a three-hour interactive training using standardized NIH-recognized mentoring curriculum from the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER). We will cover three popular modules: aligning mentor-mentee expectations, improving mentor-mentee interpersonal communication, and enhancing work-life integration. Confirmed speakers include Drs. Veronika Wirtz, Professor of Global Health at BUSPH, Jarvis Chen, Senior Lecturer on Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and Rachel Yorlets, Postdoctoral Fellow at BUSPH.
