Geneva Internship Program

The Geneva Internship Program offers a unique combination of academic and professional development. Over 16 weeks, students will engage in coursework at the BU Geneva Academic Center while gaining practical experience in a professional setting in or near Geneva. This program is specifically designed for those pursuing tracks in international relations or public health, operating in partnership with the University of Geneva. However, we highly recommend students in business, science, and other fields, to join this professionalism as global challenges impact all sectors. Through this integrated approach, students will enhance their knowledge and skills in a global context, preparing them for future career opportunities

Pre-placement interviews will be conducted by our Internship Placement Manager, either in person in Boston or by conference.  Once in Geneva, the Internship Placement Manager will do an internship presentation during orientation week and run several internship workshops before and during your internship. You will receive personalised coaching.

She will be in touch with students directly concerning internship arrangements and interviews that may be requested by the internship supervisors.  Specific placements vary from semester to semester and may not always be available.  Your placement will depend on your qualifications and the requirements of the organisation.

Contact the Placement Manager for any advice or trouble-shooting for the internship component. Please contact her directly for any questions you might have about your internship.
