More than 50 people attended, producing a wide range of stimulating ideas through interactive presentations, discussions, and conversations. This event was co-sponsored by the Geddes Language Center (GLC) and the Digital Learning Initiative (DLI).<\/p>\n<p>The Wednesday evening keynote delivered by <strong> Professor Fernando Rubio <\/strong>, Associate Professor of Spanish Linguistics and Co-Director of the Second Language Teaching and Research Center at the University of Utah, and a member of the ACTFL Board of Directors.\u00a0 The title of the keynote was <strong> &#8220;Bigger, better, fast, more: Technology in support of language learning&#8221;<\/strong>.
