Proposals requested for Geddes Talks
We are accepting proposals through August 28th for our Fall 2023 Talks Series at the Geddes Language Center.
Topics are broadly defined, including:
–effective uses of technology in support of language learning
–advocacy around language learning through our various programs
–communicative strategies: are we using the target language wherever possible? how?
–teaching for proficiency
–mental health and other support for our students
–AI and its aftermath: what can we expect? how can we best integrate AI in language, literature and film courses?
–what does the upper level look like?
–innovative assessment practices, both with and without technology
–other topics
