She teaches Environmental Law, Corporations, and a seminar on climate risk and financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Condon is an expert on climate change, financial risk and regulation. Her scholarship has been included in collections of the best articles of the year for several fields, including environmental law, corporate law and securities law. Her research has been relied upon by the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the US Department of Labor in rulemaking. The President\u2019s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology pointed to her work criticizing financial models in its recommendations for managing extreme weather risk. In 2023, Professor Condon joined the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment Academic Network Advisory Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Condon\u2019s scholarship has appeared or is forthcoming in leading legal journals including the\u00a0<em>UC Davis Law Review,<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>the<em> Washington Law Review<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0<em>Utah Law Review<\/em>. She has also written for interdisciplinary publications including<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Finance &amp; Society<\/em>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>NOMOS<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Land Use Policy<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0<em>Review of Environmental Economics and Policy<\/em>. Her writing and commentary have been featured in popular media outlets including the<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>New York Times<\/em>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Bloomberg<\/em>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>NPR<\/em>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Politico<\/em>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>The<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Atlantic<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>and<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>The<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span><em>New Republic<\/em>.<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Before joining BU Law, Professor Condon was an attorney at New York University School of Law\u2019s Institute for Policy Integrity, where she participated in litigation against federal regulatory rollbacks. She clerked for Judge Jane Kelly of the 8th US Circuit Court of Appeals and was a postdoctoral fellow with the Earth Institute at Columbia University. Professor Condon holds a JD from Harvard Law School, an MALD from Tufts University\u2019s Fletcher School, and a BS in Earth and Environmental Engineering from Columbia University.
