Formerly, she was a Post-doctoral Researcher at the <a href=\"http:\/\/drgr.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Debt Relief for a Green and Inclusive Recovery Project<\/a> and affiliated with SOAS, University of London. Previously, she worked at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in the Debt and Development Finance Branch (Globalization and Development Strategies). She is an expert on sovereign debt, the Global Financial Safety Net, international finance and currency internationalization. She is also co-chair for the Brazil T20 Task Force 3 on reforming the International Financial Architecture. Marina holds a PhD from Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin, where she defended her thesis with highest distinction on institutional and political-economic drivers of renminbi Internationalization.
