H<span>e co-leads HCI&#8217;s\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/research\/human-capital-initiative\/population-health-economics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" id=\"LPlnkOWA24c13719-2e3e-47f1-a7b1-659fd12eb609\" data-linkindex=\"1\">Population Health Economics<\/a><span> program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>His research applies the analytical tools of economics and data science to the study of population health, with a focus on HIV treatment and prevention in southern Africa. Current research interests include chronic disease management in low resource settings; economic spillover effects of HIV treatment; decision-making in HIV-endemic risk environments; population health impacts of social policy; and causal inference in public health research.
