She is the former Director of the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Group of Twenty-Four on International Monetary Affairs and Development (G-24).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Prior to her current position, she was the Senior Adviser to the Managing Director at the World Bank where she also served as Sector Director for the Africa Financial and Private Sector Development Department, Director of the Financial Sector Operations and Policy Department in the Financial Sector Vice-Presidency as well as Chair of the Financial Sector Board.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ms. Uy is a current member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/task-force\/\"><span>Task Force on Climate, Development and the International Financial Architecture<\/span><\/a>, <span>a consortium of experts from around the world utilizing rigorous, empirical research to advance a development-centered approach to climate change across the international financial architecture (IFA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":19363,"template":"","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/16798"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/profile"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/19363"}],"version-history":[{"count":7,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/16798\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":33075,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/16798\/revisions\/33075"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=16798"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
