He specializes in Brazil-China political-economic relations, focusing mainly on four pillars: trade, investments, infrastructure projects, and loans. He is currently investigating the bilateral energy cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>He has published a few articles on Brazil-China relations and is the author and organizer of two books: &#8220;A Embrapa na pol\u00edtica externa brasileira&#8221; (Embrapa in the Brazilian foreign policy) (2015) and &#8220;Desafios e oportunidades na rela\u00e7\u00e3o Brasil-\u00c1sia na perspectiva de jovens diplomatas&#8221; (Challenges and opportunities in the Brazil-Asia relationship in the perspective of young diplomats) (2017).<\/p>\n<p>Pedro is also a\u00a0Brazilian\u00a0career diplomat.\u00a0He was a fellow of the Center of Studies China-Mexico (Cechimex) in 2019.\u00a0He has a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Law from\u00a0the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and a Master&#8217;s degree in Diplomacy from\u00a0the diplomatic-academic Rio Branco Institute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":15935,"template":"","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/10210"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/profile"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/15935"}],"version-history":[{"count":6,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/10210\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":25191,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/10210\/revisions\/25191"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=10210"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
