Plan México and the Green Transition: Beyond the USMCA
- Starts9:00 am on Thursday, January 29, 2026
- Ends4:15 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026
Around the world, industrial policy is increasingly at the center of economic strategy, as governments seek to strengthen domestic production, create high-quality jobs and build more resilient supply chains. Mexico’s Plan México reflects this renewed momentum. Furthermore, as the global push toward green development accelerates, Mexico faces the shared challenge of ensuring that industrial policy, financing and governance arrangements work in tandem to support sustainable, inclusive development.
On Thursday, January 29 through Friday, January 30, join us and Tecnológico de Monterrey's School of Social Sciences and Government, Net Zero Industrial Policy Lab, Oxford–Mexico Industrial Policy Co-Lab, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and Open Society Foundations for a two-day in-person workshop exploring Plan México and the green transition.
