karensb@bu.edu<\/a><\/p>\n Karen Brouhard joined the FSAO as a counselor over 14 years ago and became the director in 2019.\u00a0 She is a Licensed, Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who earned her Master of Social Work degree from Smith College in 1989. \u00a0She has worked in a variety of educational, medical, and mental health settings. Her experience includes co-directing the Center for Violence Prevention and Recovery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and serving as a Lecturer in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.\u00a0 Karen\u2019s interests include psychological resilience, mindfulness and the emerging field of psychedelic-assisted therapy.\u00a0 She loves the arts, particularly music and dance, and finds sustenance in her meditation practice and nature walks.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n pronouns-she\/her\/hers<\/p>\n hendersa@bu.edu<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Sarah Henderson is a\u202fLicensed, Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and yoga.\u00a0\u00a0Sarah joined FSAO in 2020 after many years in private practice. She received her Master of Social Work Degree from Simmons in 2002 and has over 20 years of experience providing individual and couples counseling. Sarah is passionate about social justice and strives to create a welcoming and inclusive space for people to explore different aspects of their mental health and identity. Sarah has a strong interest in health and wellness and is a certified yoga teacher. Her own yoga practice and training are a wonderful complement to her interactive and collaborative counseling style.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Sarah enjoys spending time with family, traveling, walks with her dog, and reading nonfiction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/a>Sarah Henderson, LICSW, CEAP
