Survivors of Homicide Victim Awareness Month Webinar

November 20- December 20 is Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month (SHVAM). Enacted in 2000, Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month (SHVAM) is a month-long effort to inform and impact how society views and responds to homicide victims and their families.

Honoring Your Feelings During the Holiday Season: Identifying Hope and Support After the Loss of a Loved One to Violence

In honor of SHVAM, MOVA (Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance ) will host a moderated panel discussion with survivors who have lost a loved one to homicide. The panel will be made up of individuals with diverse experiences and perspectives. As a result of the panel, attendees will be able to recognize and respond to the needs of homicide survivors, particularly around the holidays.
