Subscription Databases
These are comprehensive databases of government and non-government funding opportunities in all fields, searchable by discipline, eligibility, funding types, sponsor types, deadline, and keyword. These are available to all BU faculty and staff members (and may require a Kerberos login).

Boston University Resources
- The Boston University Research Support website provides additional information on federal funding, limited submission opportunities, internal funding opportunities, and other local funding sources
- The College of Arts & Sciences provides a listing of humanities fellowships and grants. In addition, the BU Center for Humanities has its own awards.
- The BU School of Medicine maintains the BUSM Calendar of Funding Opportunities. This page also includes information on limited funding opportunities.
- BU’s Provost’s office maintains a list of Award Opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty.
Other Resources
- The NIH maintains a “Non-NIH Funding Opportunities” list, which is filterable by categories like “Predoctoral”, “Postdoctoral”, “Health Professional”, “Faculty”, “Institutions”, and “Travel”.
- McNair Scholars’ “Graduate Student Funding Opportunities” lists opportunities organized by discipline.
