We are committed to providing quality physical education classes to the students of Boston University. On this page, you will find details and policies relating to our class offerings.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Details &amp; Policies (for academic year 2025-2026)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h6 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Overview &amp; Eligibility<\/h6><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered <strong>full-time<\/strong> (undergrad and graduate) Boston University students can sign up for <strong>one physical education class per semester<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/app.powerbi.com\/view?r=eyJrIjoiMjY1MzE3YjYtMTc5Yi00ODBhLTg2MDYtYTM3MzA3YjZhYzgxIiwidCI6ImQ1N2QzMmNjLWMxMjEtNDg4Zi1iMDdiLWRmZTcwNTY4MGM3MSIsImMiOjN9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Browse and register for classes here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Registration for Spring 2026 will open to students on <strong>Monday, December 15 at 12pm (EST)<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Classes will be available browse starting Tuesday, December 2.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Provided there is space available, all\u00a0<strong>full-time students<\/strong>\u00a0will be able to register for\u00a0<strong>one additional<\/strong>\u00a0PDP class on\u00a0<strong>Monday, January 12 at 12pm (EST)<\/strong>. Students may not enroll in more than two PDPs per semester.<\/li>\n<li>Physical education classes are <strong>free<\/strong> with defined learning objectives that teach skills and concepts built upon each week.<b><\/b><\/li>\n<li>To drop a physical education course, please fill out and submit <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeS8rz01KAkb4ssjQU3lBGmGM4T9mO-Zf_N8Erz8e0JSClsWQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this form.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Classes will start on the Monday after academic classes start. Please refer to the start date on the class registration for the class you are enrolled in.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/what-we-offer\/certifications\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Certification courses<\/a> will remain fee-based.<\/li>\n<li><span>Tuition remission no longer applies to any FitRec programming. PDP courses are free for full-time students and are no longer offered for university credit. After this date, drops will not be accepted.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h6 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">How do I transfer into a different PDP class or section?<\/h6><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>We do not conduct transfers from one PDP to another. Use the drop form linked above to drop your class.
