{"id":80,"date":"2014-03-31T12:18:09","date_gmt":"2014-03-31T16:18:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/?page_id=80"},"modified":"2025-11-23T13:57:04","modified_gmt":"2025-11-23T18:57:04","slug":"event-policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/plan-an-event\/event-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Event Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Rental Event Policies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>3 weeks advance notice is required for all requests<\/li>\n<li>Requests are processed in the order they are received and filled on a space-available basis<\/li>\n<li>Requests do not guarantee availability or approval<\/li>\n<li>If your request can be accommodated, a price estimate will be provided by the rentals staff<\/li>\n<li>A signed contract and down payment will be required to secure your reservation<\/li>\n<li>Requests to adjust your event after a contract is signed or payment is made may incur additional costs<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s helpful if all audio, visual, and equipment requests are included when making the initial request for a reservation.<\/li>\n<li>If food and beverages will be served, arrangements must be made in advance with both FitRec management and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dining\/catering\/\">Catering on the Charles<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>All participants will required to submit a signed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/files\/2016\/06\/Event-Waiver.pdf\">waiver of liability<\/a> prior to entering the facility.
