Your generous donations go directly to supporting the student and part-time employees in a number of ways including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Social events<\/strong>: team-building events and gatherings to ease the stress that comes along with being student<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professional development opportunities<\/strong>: financial support to attend industry conferences and events<\/li>\n<li><strong>Certification class scholarships<\/strong>: assistance with gaining certifications to forward career goals in aquatics<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recognition awards<\/strong>: monthly awards for outstanding employees and gifts for graduating seniors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All donations to the Friends of FitRec Aquatics fund are tax-deductible in the United States. If you would like to donate to Friends of FitRec Aquatics, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/give.bu.edu\/schools\/BostonUniversity\/giving-day\/pages\/physical-education-recreation-and-dance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boston University Giving Day<\/a> page.
