Approved affiliates are eligible to join at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/membership-services\/faculty-staff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">current faculty\/staff rates<\/a>. Please see below for more information about eligibility and next steps.<\/p>\n<p>Membership provides you with access to all of our extraordinary <a title=\"Facilities\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/about\/facilities\/\">facilities<\/a>, <a title=\"Services\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/membership\/services\/\">membership services<\/a>, \u00a0a discounted rate for our wide variety of exciting recreation classes, and family programming. We also have locker rooms and saunas for convenience and comfort.<\/p>\n<h2>Membership Details<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Examples of eligible Affiliate Groups are:\n<ul>\n<li>660 Corporation Employees on BU Campus<\/li>\n<li>Aramark Employees on BU Campus<\/li>\n<li>Barnes &amp; Noble Employees on BU Campus<\/li>\n<li>Boston Medical Center Employees<\/li>\n<li>BU Works Consultants\/Contractors<\/li>\n<li>Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra staff members<\/li>\n<li>Otis Elevator<\/li>\n<li>Visiting Scholars<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you don&#8217;t see your group listed above and want to know if you are eligible, please email Allison Holloway (<a href=\"mailto:amhollo@bu.edu\">amhollo@bu.edu<\/a>) for more information.<\/li>\n<li>Proof of eligibility, such as a work ID or a letter from personnel, is required. If you already have an account in our system and are able to log in, send proof of eligibility to <a href=\"mailto:fitrec@bu.edu\">fitrec@bu.edu<\/a>, and you will be contacted when proper permissions have been added to your account. If you are NOT able to <a href=\"https:\/\/myfitrec.bu.edu\/webtrac\/web\/splash.html?interfaceparameter=2&amp;ccode=bu-login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">log into our website<\/a> using your BU kerberos login, you will first need to <a href=\"https:\/\/myfitrec.bu.edu\/webtrac\/web\/household.html?option=add\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">create an account<\/a> and submit your documents after the account has been created.\n<ul>\n<li>Visiting Scholars should submit their Appointment Letter showing the start and end dates of the appointment, as well as a photo of their BUID.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>FitRec offers Monthly Recurring plans (available anytime), as well as Annual Recurring and 6-Month Recurring plans which are available during open enrollment periods.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open enrollment periods occur in June\/July (for both 6-Month recurring and Annual recurring plans) an additionally in December\/January for 6-Month Recurring plans. 6-Month Recurring and Annual Recurring plans represent roughly 15% and 20% (respectively) savings compared to monthly plans, and provide complimentary access to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/what-we-offer\/fitness\/dropins\/\">Drop-In classes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/membership-services\/faculty-staff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to view available membership options and pricing.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an Affiliate Group member of Boston University, you are invited to join BU&#8217;s Fitness and Recreation Center, one of the country\u2019s top university fitness centers.
