We also have\u00a0locker rooms and saunas that are reserved exclusively for faculty\/staff use only for added privacy and comfort. In addition, Boston University\u2019s Blue Cross Blue Shield health care options include an <a title=\"Insurance Reimbursement\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/about\/forms-policies\/insurance-reimbursement\/\">annual fitness benefit <\/a>that provides a $150 rebate towards the cost of your membership. Take some time to focus on your health and wellness at FitRec while working at BU!<\/p>\n<h6>Eligibility<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>All full-time faculty\/staff, as recognized by the Charles River and Medical Campus Human Resources departments are eligible for faculty\/staff membership. FitRec receives fac\/staff status directly from a nightly data download from BU Human Resources.<\/li>\n<li>Additional BU affiliations eligible for faculty\/staff membership include; Emerita Professor, Emeritus Professor, Retired Employee, and Trustees. Please email <a href=\"mailto:fitrec@bu.edu\">fitrec@bu.edu<\/a> with proof of status and fac\/staff affiliation can be added to your account, allowing you to purchase at the fac\/staff level. If you do not have a FitRec account, you will need to <a href=\"https:\/\/myfitrec.bu.edu\/webtrac\/web\/household.html?option=add\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">create one first<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Other certain BU Affiliate groups may also qualify for faculty\/staff membership. Annual Recurring plans will automatically renew each July 1 for the regular price.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Annual Recurring memberships have no initiation fee and represent a roughly 20% savings over the cost of monthly membership. Membership must be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/fitrec\/about\/forms-policies\/cancellation-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cancelled<\/a> prior to the first calendar day of the next month to stop future billing.<\/p>\n<p><em>Full-time BU Faculty\/Staff members hired within the last 30 days can receive a complimentary 30-day trial membership by emailing <a href=\"mailto:perdmbsg@bu.edu\">perdmbsg@bu.edu<\/a> with proof of hire date. This offer extends to first-time hires of BU for compensated positions only and with no history of membership.
