The BU Sailing Pavilion will reopen in Spring 2024.
Rentals
The Sailing Pavilion currently offers kayaks, paddleboards and sailboats for rent to the BU community and the public. Each are provided on a first come first serve basis. The purchase of a sailing pass unlocks access to any of the above items.
Kayaks
We have four west marine kayaks which can be used in either single or double configurations. No previous experience is required. Our kayaks are sit-on-top style.
Stand Up Paddleboards
We have six Bic paddleboards for rent. No previous experience is required.
Sailboats
We offer five RS Zest and one RS Quest sailboats for rent. Prior experience is mandatory for the use of our sailboats.
Passes
Buy a day, month, or season pass, get fitted for a life jacket, and be on your way for a great time on the Charles River.
